Aerobatics finals are going on the whole day long of course. Team race and combat are scheduled for the afternoon. Unfortunately the weather is changing around 2 pm. Some thunderstorm cells have developed and are going through now. There is a reflight granted in F2B - a really special thing: Serge Delabarde had a whirlwind happened during his flight straigt through the circle! In the T/R final are Thierry Ougen/Roland Surugue (FRA), Yuri Shabashov/Serguei Moskalev (RUS) and Yuriy Bondarenko/Semen Lerner (UKR).
The french team had problems when pitting second time and become third at all. Juri Shabashov/Serguei Moskalev, ranked at 13 and in the final due to a refusing of the second russian team in the semis, become second. Cheered by the complete ukrainian team and their fans the team Yuriy Bondarenko/Semen Lerner are the winners showing a perfect race.
In the evening then the banquett and price giving. About this you will read here in a few days, because we like to take part there now! Let me say thanks at this point to all the Sebnitz people who contributed to this great event. Thanks too for the team of Ulli Forkert and our compliments!

One of the greatest C/L events I've ever seen is going to be finished. Bright sunshine welcomes us at Sunday, when the finals are starting.
Around the circle are a lot of spectating people and a really great feeling when the final was started at 2:30pm .
After this the final in combat: The american Mike Wilkox won in front of Boris Vaisov (RUS) and Volodimir Vesich (UKR).
